Rekka
Female, born in ca 1966 in the wild.
Arrived at Burgers' Zoo on June 27, 2007
Rekka came together with Indra to Arnhem. Both were confiscated by German authorities. The owner, a circus, was not able to take care anymore for these animals, who where in bad condition.
Rekka looks better then her friend Indra, altough she also must recover. Like Indra, Rekka had to be trained by the zoo caregivers for foot care. Something they did not learn in the circus!
