Kwimba, Mabel and Pinky Asian elephant (Elephas maximus) Kwimba, female, born May 10, 1961 in Budapest Zoo. To Arnhem in January 1966. Moved to Ponst Scorff (France) on March 10, 1998, and died there on June 12, 2005 Mabel, female, born in 1966 in the wild of Asia. To Arnhem on April 28, 1981, and died there on June 17, 2002.
