Sibu is a very playful elephant but also causes little irritations in the herd. Therefore the zoo was looking for another location. They found it in Dierenrijk, who build a new elephant enclosure for young bulls only. Sibu was transported to Dierenrijk on July 9, 2008.
Soon after the arrival of Kan Kaung and Than Myan from Emmen Zoo he became friends with the two.
