The new herd of 1988

On June 27, 1988 a group of six young elephants came from Burma to Emmen Zoo. One of them; Thi Ha Wai doesn't feel well in this herd, and was send to Longleat Safari Park (UK) on November 7. A day later two other elephants arrived at Emmen. With Annabel, Zitta and Hella, Emmen Zoo now had a herd of ten elephants.
