Early in the morning of May 23, Swe San Htay got the first contracxtions. Together with her best friend Annabel, she stays inside while the herd was going outside. At the end of the afternoon, when the herd returned into the elephanthouse, around 5.30 PM, a little baby was born. Everyone was very excited except for father Radza; he was more interested in having diner! 5 minutes after birth, Unt Bwe stood on his four legs.
Because the baby keeps on walking to Mingalar Oo, he, his mum, and Annabel were separated from the herd during the first days. While the weather was to cold, the three stays inside the first ten days.
