e = Shower (handled by the animals)

Remarks: h = Wooden elephant for children.

The animals can roam freeling on both outside areas during daytime. At night (if the animals are outside) the females and the bull are each in their own enclosures.

The elephant house

Dimensions: Explanation of the letters:
Boxes for the bull = 8 x 9 meters (72 m2) a = Box with rubber floor for the bull.
Boxes for the females = 6 x 4 meters (24 m2) b = Box with sandfloor for the bull.
Large room for females = 6 x 12 meter (72 m2) c = Large room with sandfloor for the females
d = Box with rubber floor for the females.
e = Shute for medical care.
f = Keepers room.
Remarks: g = Visitors room.
If the weather is good the animals are staying outside during the night. The doors are always open.
Normally all gates between the boxes and the large room are open.
The public can watch the elephant through large windows.
